Gabriele Cardinali is an award-winning self-taught composer born in 1976 in Rome, Italy.

Always interested in the sound of objects rather than their shape or color, Gabriele began composing in middle school, where he also learned to play the clarinet. As opportunities to share his music became more available via the internet, and home recording equipment more affordable, he was able to gradually shift his talents and studies to more complex musical structures and his true love of composing for orchestra, till his first participation in a composition contest few years ago.

His works include pieces for orchestra, a short-animated-movie score and a pocket opera, and have been performed by orchestras like Brazosport Symphony and Seattle Rainbow City.

When he isn’t composing music, Gabriele, a graduate of computer accounting, is a senior analyst and software programmer for public accounting with 20+ years experience in IT.
